How image manipulation is done
You send your photo and a brief
Your photo, and a short note on what to take out, put in or combine, with reference images if you have them.
We remove what you don't want
An editor takes out the unwanted object and rebuilds what was behind it.
We add what you do want
The new object is placed at the right size and angle, with a shadow that falls the same way as the others.
It looks like it was shot that way
Light, shadows and reflections match across the whole picture, checked by a second editor.
Why professional studio compositing outperforms generic generative AI.
E-commerce and advertising visuals demand real product accuracy with flawless lighting physics. See how studio compositing compares.
| Feature | Reframe Studio | Generative AI Fill | Basic Clone-Stamp Freelancers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Product Integrity | Zero modification to original product geometry or logos | Frequently hallucinates features and scrambles labels | Visible blur, smudges, and repeated brush patterns |
| Lighting & Shadow Physics | Directional shadows and reflections physically aligned | Inconsistent light sources and floating perspective | Flat or misangled contact shadows |
| Complex Object Removal | Seamless background reconstruction with real texture | Smudgy artifacts, blurry patches, and melted edges | Noticeable clone stamping and pixel repetition |
| File Architecture | Layered 16-bit PSD with non-destructive masks | Single flattened low-res raster output | Single unorganized layer with destructive edits |
| Commercial Print Readiness | Flawless at 300 DPI for billboard and packaging print | Resolution-limited and prone to pixel-level distortion | Rough edges visible at high resolution |
| Revision Control | Unlimited revisions within 14 days per brief | Random generation requiring unpredictable re-prompts | Slow back-and-forth email disputes |
Is image manipulation right for your images?
A good fit
- Product scenes and advertising visuals
- Campaign images with distractions to remove
- Objects that need adding with realistic scale, light and shadow
Not a fit
- New product photography: shoot it first, then send the files
- 3D or CGI creation: a render studio is the right fit
- Unrelated cleanup on the same images: Retouching
What you get back.
- Files

Probably the best team I have worked with, and I use the platform very very often. Awesome pricing & highest possible result. Everything done to the smallest details. They really know how to use PS. Will definitely work with them in the long run.

Edits that change what is in the picture: removing an object, adding one, combining several photos into one scene, rebuilding a background, or fixing perspective and reflections so the result looks real. Cleaning dust and scratches is Retouching, which is cheaper.
The base image, a short brief of what to change, and any extra files you want added (a second product photo, a scene, a logo). A rough sketch or a reference image of the finished look helps most. You need the rights to every image you ask us to combine.
Simple edits are $3.99 per image and Complex edits are $8.99. Simple: removing or adding one small object, or a basic composite. Complex: several elements, scene rebuilds, or edits that need new lighting, reflections and shadows to match. Prices are per image at 24h Standard.

Yes. A layered PSD is available when you or your designer want to adjust things later, so each added or edited element sits on its own layer.
We do not shoot new product photography and do not build 3D or CGI images. We edit the photos you send. Unrelated retouching is only done if you ask for it.
